The Factory
Our printing is produced in a factory that is committed to producing the smallest carbon footprint in an environmentally friendly way. The factory has an ISO 14001 environment management systems award and is FSC certified.

FSC
The demanding standards of the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) mean that every sheet of paper can be traced back to its source. FSC is seen as the 'gold standard' of responsible husbandry of forests. Every aspect of the supply chain meets with the exacting standard of our environmental policy. Almost all the paper & board used a our Print Production Hub is to the FSC standard. Of course we could buy cheaper paper produced from trees felled from virgin rain forests and processed without regard to poisoning rivers and the high rates of mortality amongst the indigenous population. Some of our competitors use it without compunction but we at JJ Copyprint set higher standards and we know our customers do too!

Ink
All our ink is based on clean vegetable oil and supplied in eco friendly packaging. On site mixing technology allows ink mixing to pinpoint accuracy making waste close to zero.

Paper
All our paper is processed using Elemental Chlorine Free technology to avoid the production of damaging toxins. Paper is sourced from EU FSC grade forests where more trees are planted for the future than are felled each year.

The Environment
The factory's commitment to the environment is just as much in evidence when it comes to the use of electricity. After a review by the Carbon Trust a number of energy saving solutions have been implemented from lights which turn themselves off when the sun shines, to motors which run up to 70% more efficiently. The factory is powered by 'Green Electricity' which comes from renewable sources.

Sheet Utility
Our business model ensures a high sheet utility with minimal waste. Recycling is of an exceptionally high order and everything that can't be used is graded into a range of categories and recycled or disposed of responsibly.
